We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance products and services and will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring the smooth administration of employee benefits programs, and fostering strong relationships with clients. In this role, the Benefits Account Manager will be the main point of contact for client inquiries, working closely with both clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, resolve issues, and ensure overall client satisfaction with their benefits offerings.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and addressing questions or concerns related to employee benefits.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of clients' insurance benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve issues, update plan details, and ensure the smooth processing of claims, renewals, and plan changes.
- Assist with open enrollment, ensuring that employees have the necessary information and support to make informed decisions about their benefits.
- Work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable benefits programs based on employee demographics, company size, and budget.
- Keep clients informed about new products, plan designs, and regulatory changes that could impact their benefits offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, claims, and other critical documents.
- Valid state Life & Health
- 5 years of experience as an account manager and strong benefits knowledge
- Associate’s degree
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft suite tools, including data manipulation in excel.
- Prior experience with Employee Navigator, PlanSlight or AMS360.
- Industry knowledge in Human Resources and Benefits
