Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our claims team. In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, and settle bodily injury claims by working closely with insureds, claimants, medical professionals, legal teams, and other parties involved. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of bodily injury claims, and the ability to manage complex cases with a focus on customer service and compliance.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our claims team. In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, and settle bodily injury claims by working closely with insureds, claimants, medical professionals, legal teams, and other parties involved. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of bodily injury claims, and the ability to manage complex cases with a focus on customer service and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse inventory of commercial and personal lines auto and premise liability claims.
- Analyze, review, and interpret policies to determine if coverage applies.
- Investigate and assess liability.
- Investigate and evaluate bodily injury claims by reviewing medical records, police reports, statements, and other relevant documents.
- Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications, investigations, and decisions related to the claim.
- Ensure all physical damage and bodily injury claims are handled in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely and professional updates to claimants and other stakeholders regarding the status of claims. Assist claimants with inquiries and guide them through the claims process.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of bodily injury claims to management, highlighting key developments and potential challenges.
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years minimum of bodily injury claim handling
- 10-15 years of claim handling experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft suite tools, including data manipulation in excel.
