As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing personal insurance accounts and driving sales through effective communication and negotiation skills. As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing personal insurance accounts and driving sales through effective communication and negotiation skills. Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with producers to bind and secure renewals and new business.
- Handle client requests for endorsements to policies, certificates of insurance, and high-level general questions.
- Regular interaction with clients both on the phone and via email.
- Handle all servicing aspects of an existing book of business as well as market new business.
- Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options / exclusions; making coverage recommendations; requesting policy changes and assisting with the needs of the client.
- Valid Pennsylvania state Property & Casualty Insurance License or Personal Lines License.
- Experience with Agriculture and/or Farm insurance
- 3 years of Personal Lines Insurance experience within a brokerage firm.
- Good understanding of all coverages and related laws, codes, regulations; all aspects of marketing process; commercial insurance rating, insurance terminology, and concepts; insurance company operations and their relations to the sales/marketing process as well as policy structure and content.
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and technology & computer proficiency including agency management systems.
- Outstanding communication, written and verbal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
