Job Summary:
Here at Trucordia, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to join our team. This Procurement Analyst will play a key role in managing and optimizing the procurement process, ensuring that the company receives the best value for goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Success in this position will require a keen eye for cost management, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Job Summary:
Here at Trucordia, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to join our team. This Procurement Analyst will play a key role in managing and optimizing the procurement process, ensuring that the company receives the best value for goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Success in this position will require a keen eye for cost management, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze procurement data to spot trends, cost-saving opportunities, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Review purchase requisitions to ensure they align with budgets and procurement policies.
- Prepare purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and track order progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and meet procurement requirements effectively.
- Stay current with market trends, pricing, and potential new suppliers through regular research.
- Monitor and report on key procurement metrics like cost savings, supplier performance, and cycle times.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and invoices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make thoughtful decisions.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools, including NetSuite, Excel, and other tools within the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and suppliers.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management abilities to handle competing priorities.
- Solid knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) or experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
