As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for oversight and management of financial reporting and analysis, in support of strategic decision making. Generally, you will support a Regional Finance Director, and the Trucordia office partners in a specific geographic region(s). You will collaborate with the Accounting team and other shared service leaders, to report accurate and timely reporting on a monthly basis. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for oversight and management of financial reporting and analysis, in support of strategic decision making. Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Junior Financial Analyst(s)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, understanding key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating/presenting key messages to senior management
- Support company planning processes for all corporate short and long-term forecasts for all financial statements, primarily for the Income Statement
- Collaborate across the organization to drive process and systematic improvements that will drive increased productivity and accuracy.
- Build and maintain relevant KPI dashboards
- Contribute to the creation of a detailed operating plan and long-term corporate financial model; track ongoing changes to the business in the rolling forecast
- Support Finance leadership team on annual operating plan, quarterly/monthly forecasting
- Effectively communicate with various offices across region
- Ad-hoc analysis as required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A roles
- Analytical, accurate, detail-oriented, and a self-starter able to meet deadlines and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
- Experience with Financial and Reporting systems such as NetSuite and Adaptive preferred
- Insurance Industry experience preferred but not required
