**Job Overview:**

We are a private owned dental clinic with well friendly and welcoming woking environment. The clinic has been at the same location for 40 years with a stable and active patient pool. The clinic has been recently remodeled with state of the art equipments and surgical operatory. We have a young, easy-going and supportive team on site. With new practice scope implemented, we are looking forward to expanding our team to offer extraordinary services to our patients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our dentists in delivering top-notch dental services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to advance their career in the dental industry.

We keep most of our dental treatment in house, especially focusing on surgical procedures. it is a very good opportunity for candidate who would like to expose to different type of procedures including but not limited to oral surgery, periodontal surgery, implant, restorative, esthetics dentistry. We also offer different level of sedation from general anesthesia to oral sedation; therefore, it is also a rare chance for any candidate who wants to expand their personal experience in dental assisting under different settings.

We offer on-site training if candidate is new to dentistry but with passion and enthusiasm to learn.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, taking vital signs, review medical/dental/medication history and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

- Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures to accurately document patient records and prepare materials for procedures.

-Giving patient pre- and post- instructions to help patient understand the procedure as well as post-op management to minimize the risk of complication/discomfort.

- Develop strong relationships with patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.

- Collaborate with our dental receptionist team to manage patient appointments, schedules, and insurance claims.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and medical history.

- Perform X-rays, clean dental equipment, and ensure aseptic technique is followed throughout the practice.

- Operate dental software, mostly Eaglesoft, to efficiently manage patient information and streamline practice operations.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical coding and dental technology to ensure our practice is compliant with all regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Current active Registerd Dental Assistant (RDA) license.

- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant experience as a dental assistant (1 year preferred).

- Zero experience but with passion to learn and thrive in dentistry also welcome to apply, we offer on-site training.

- Bilingual with English and Spanish

- Front desk/patient care coordinator experience preferred.

- Strong understanding and quick learner of dental procedures, medical terminology, and aseptic technique.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and the team.

- Proficiency in dental software, experience of Eaglesoft is preferred.
