Job Description:
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging and shipping products accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and ensuring that all orders are processed on time. This role is critical to our operations and requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately package and label products for shipment according to company standards.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents to ensure all orders are correctly documented.
- Operate packaging equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to the Logistics Director.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the Logistics Director.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment that is exposed to varying temperatures.
Salary : $18 - $20
