SUMMARY
Simply True Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive General Manager who has experience managing workflow, and sales. With a proven track record of high performance. The General Manager position is responsible for obtaining revenue and expense budgets, driving operational excellence, and developing sales/service staff through training compliance, modeling core values, and hands-on leadership at the location level. The position is a mixed management position that directly supervises Sales Advisors and Technician personnel. In addition, the General manager/Advisor is responsible to contribute a minimum of 20% location sales by personally writing service tickets and following up on unsold tickets. The General Manager/Advisor is required to ensure the execution of the TRUE Automotive Code of Conduct, Operations, and Team Development objectives.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the Team: Manage 4-20 team members based on store size, driving employee performance and development.
- Oversee Workflow: Proactively manage the workflow board, prioritize tasks, and resolve roadblocks to maintain efficiency.
- Drive Sales: Engage in service advising, ensuring customer needs are met and sales targets are consistently achieved.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Hold the team accountable for efficient, honest, and respectful communication while handling escalated complaints and coaching for performance.
- Financial Management: Maintain profitability by controlling expenses, improving efficiency, and balancing quality and cost.
- Embrace Technology: Use tools like TekMetric, POS systems, and financing platforms to streamline operations, manage metrics, and support the team.
Qualifications
- 2 years of management experience with a track record of driving financial performance.
- Skilled in basic computer programs (Word, Excel, POS) with the ability to learn new systems.
- Clear communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and insurability under the store's policy.
- Proven leadership and experience managing teams of various sizes.
- A strong focus on customer relations, sales, and operational excellence.
- Expertise in using technology to enhance efficiency and workflows.
- Physical capability for lifting over 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
