Summary
This is a full-time position responsible for developing and supporting leak detection solutions across a range of pipeline systems. The role combines domain knowledge, software skills, and customer collaboration to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative pipeline monitoring solutions. This position is part of the Engineering Team and works closely with customers and internal development staff.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer pipeline architectures and system designs into actionable configurations for Flowstate’s leak detection models
- Collaborate with customer teams to understand pipeline setups, including data sources, formats, and integration requirements, etc.
- Evaluate pipeline systems against Flowstate’s product capabilities and recommend solutions for improvement or further study
- Develop tools and processes to automate implementation tasks where applicable to improve efficiency and scalability
- Develop and perform Digital Leak Simulations to assess and optimize system performance
- Assist in project scoping, cost estimation, and proposal development for new projects
- Provide consultative guidance and documentation to customers on system integration and best practices
- Support product development by evaluating feature requests, identifying performance improvements, and contributing to prioritization
- Serve as a key liaison between the software development team and customers, including solution testing, deployment, and support
- Assist in training internal staff on pipeline systems and leak detection technologies
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory conditions, and relevant developments in pipeline monitoring
- Attend occasional industry events as a representative of Flowstate
Qualifications
- BS in appropriate engineering field
- 3 years’ experience in pipeline engineering
- Familiarity with pipeline operations including hydraulic performance, equipment, etc.
- Experience with pipeline control and monitoring systems
- Ability to work with multifunctional teams
- Excellent communication and computer skills
