What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foundation Foreman position at True Concrete Solutions?
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks related to layout, steel reinforcing installation, concrete placement, concrete finishing and form work
Must have 3 years’ experience running concrete crew
Instruct others working under you to learn all aspects of the job
Operate skid steer, trucks, and haul trailers
Responsible for maintaining truck, equipment, and tools. Includes but is not limited to; cleaning, washing, greasing, alerting management when service is needed, ect.
Assemble Symons brand panels
Interpreting blueprints and understanding job requirments
Fabricate and install steel and/ or wood form block outs
Install embedded steel items in concrete
Fabricate wooden bolt templates, and properly install them per blueprints
Perform layout, operate levels, transit and laser layout equipment (total station knowledge or willingness to learn)
Place and finish concrete walls & slabs
Perform daily job-site and after project clean-up
Responsible for safety in all aspects of their work
Responsible for ordering equipment and materials when needed in a timely manner
Responsible for supervising and scheduling day to day activities, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards
Stage and setup equipment and materials needed on the job
Travel to job sites with work crew
Interface with customers, project managers and department coordinators
Maintain a positive attitude at all times
Valid Drivers License
Foundation Foreman Knowledge, Critical Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of the Concrete trade
Must be familiar with concepts behind concrete placement and reinforcement
Complete understanding of construction process and how trades interact
Implement True Concrete standards for means and methods on all projects, ensuring decisions align with company objectives
Problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with team members.
Must have at least a High School Education or Equivalent
Must have a commercial drivers license (or the ability to obtain) and a good driving record
Requirements:
Bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting frequently
Lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs
Equipment, tools, and materials knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Standing for extended periods of time – 4 - 8 hours

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
