Job Title: Cashier / Sales Associate
Reports To: Store Manager
Summary:
A cashier at True Confections is responsible for providing our legendary customer service. This includes scooping and serving ice cream, sundaes, and other frozen treats to customers. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and have a passion for ice cream.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome
- Scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, and other frozen treats to customers
- Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Clean and maintain the checkout area
- Upsell products and services to customers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers
- Passion for ice cream and candy is a plus!
