Summary:
The Maintenance Scheduling Engineer plays a key role in executing maintenance plans by coordinating all necessary resources. This includes managing and updating the maintenance work schedule, collaborating with Operations to schedule machine availability, and ensuring maintenance activities run smoothly. This role also involves reviewing completed work orders for accuracy, addressing incomplete tasks, and resolving discrepancies between planned and actual work. As a primary liaison between Maintenance and Operations, the Scheduling Engineer ensures timely, efficient, and high-quality service for all internal Maintenance customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the maintenance schedule with newly planned work.
- Coordinate with Operations to confirm the schedule and implement necessary adjustments.
- Review, document, and close completed work orders.
- Follow up on incomplete work orders and ensure resolution.
- Analyze maintenance tasks and historical data to estimate task durations.
- Update maintenance tasks and adjust estimated labor hours as needed.
- Assist in gathering and preparing all necessary parts for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Support Maintenance Excellence initiatives, including process improvements, preventive maintenance (PM) optimization, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events, and recurrence prevention efforts.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors of Science in Engineering or similar
