Job Title : Web Application Developer III
Overview :
The Web Application Developer III is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's Web and E-commerce systems across all divisions. Working under general supervision, this role handles projects and programs of moderate to high complexity, focusing on designing, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing solutions for new or existing applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of public-facing websites.
- Analyze user requirements to align system features and functionality, recommending and implementing custom solutions as needed.
- Coordinate development tasks, schedules, and activities while troubleshooting issues across multiple environments and platforms.
- Collaborate with project teams, including mainframe, database, and graphics resources, to meet project requirements.
- Develop user documentation and support tools to enhance usability.
- Stay updated on emerging web technologies and software by engaging in professional development opportunities.
- Translate project requirements into detailed technical designs, considering hardware limitations, code efficiency, and system constraints.
- Work with project management to create and execute development plans, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Write efficient, reusable code that adheres to company standards and minimizes resource overhead.
- Document projects thoroughly to support long-term system maintainability.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to eliminate errors before transitioning projects to Quality Assurance.
- Coordinate testing activities with Quality Assurance to ensure timely project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by leveraging available tools and resources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
