Calling all healthcare heroes! True Friends is looking for all stars like you to help provide our campers with positive life changing experiences this summer. Trade classrooms for campfires as you make life-long friends while gaining hands-on experience that makes a real difference in an electrifying community of campers of all ability levels.
Schedule: Seasonal, Late May - Mid August 2025
Location: Camp Friendship in Annandale, MN
Pay: $341-391 per week based on tenure with True Friends, opportunity for end of summer bonus
Bonus Information:
- 6-7 weeks worked | additional $60 per week worked
- 8-9 weeks worked | additional $70 per week worked
- 10-11 weeks worked | additional $80 per week worked
- 12-14 weeks worked | additional $90 per week worked
- Requirements: Resident or citizen of the USA, in ‘good standing’ with the organization and a live in summer camp staff member

How You'll Contribute:
- Provide for the health and safety of campers, staff, and volunteers.
- Gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of physical and medical needs.
- Set up and pass a variety of medications.
- Assist with treatments, care, transfers and emergency procedures including but not limited to catheters, colostomy bags, CPAP machines, diabetic care, monitoring vital signs, treatment of minor wounds, and g-tubes.
- Become an integral piece of the healthcare team providing high quality care.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- 2nd year nursing student or have some assisted living, group home, clinic experience.
- Experienced in medication passing preferred.
- Willing to step outside your comfort zone.
- Passionate about making a difference in the world.
- Able to support others with daily living skills.
- Happy to live and work in a communal setting.
- Eager to take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Able to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- CPR/First Aid certified, Lifeguard certified, camping experience, prior experience with the population highly valued but NOT required.
