About the Role:
The Business Development Manager is a key member of our sales team responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the residential rental market. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, online marketing, referrals).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients (landlords) through personalized outreach and presentations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential target markets and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
- Track and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate effectively with the sales and marketing team to achieve common goals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the property management or real estate industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., LeadSimple, Salesforce, Propertyware).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
