Open position in all True Media office locations including Kansas City, MO, Columbia, MO, St. Louis MO, and Minneapolis, MN; Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Looking for a creative, proactive content specialist to lead the concepting and development of owned content for True Media, aligning back to our mission of helping brands rise above the noise and make relevant connections with their consumers. Youll play an integral role in telling the story of our agency, positioning us as thought leaders in the advertising industry to prospective clients and help improve the employer brand to prospective employees.
Please note, this position is for the agency itself, it will not be performing client work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Content Planning: Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging goals
- Content Creation: Lead the development and execution of high-quality content, including thought leadership articles, social media updates, case studies, and award submissions while adhering to brand guidelines and voice
- Research: Conduct research to understand audience needs and identify content trends and opportunities
- Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies
- Collaboration: Work closely with Director of Marketing to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels, while partnering with subject matter experts on key content opportunities

- Understanding of media/advertising and an ability to speak about it in a nuanced way
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Ability to identify and pitch content opportunities, both long and short form, to internal stakeholders
- Ability to handle the strategy and execution of multiple projects
- Self-starter mentality, bringing new ideas to the table for self, department, and organization wide improvement and takes ownership over bringing from idea to activation
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
Education
- Bachelors degree (marketing, advertising, communications, business) or equivalent professional experience
