Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Drug Screen Collector / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. In this position, you will perform drug screening collections while also providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct drug and alcohol screenings following established protocols, including urine, hair, saliva, and breath tests.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens for testing.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal, state, and company regulations (e.g., DOT guidelines).
- Administer injections, assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures during physicals.
- Manage supply inventory, perform other administrative tasks as needed, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients throughout their visit.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Prior experience in drug screen collection or phlebotomy is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
