The Marketing Project Specialist collaborates with the Marketing Team and key stakeholders to define, plan, and execute projects that align with organizational goals. This role unites teams around a shared mission, identifies project risks, and manages team capacity to enhance TrueNorth's brand presence, engage audiences, and drive business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage marketing project intake by assessing new requests, defining project scope, and coordinating team assignments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives, overseeing requirements gathering, decision capture, task assignment, and overall coordination to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership on project prioritization, governance, and resource management, including analyzing team capacity and recommending adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Ensure successful project outcomes by adhering to project management best practices, coordinating across teams, and tracking progress to meet key milestones.
- Maintain real-time dashboards and project management reports to monitor team capacity, project risks, deadlines, and task completion, ensuring timely updates for stakeholders
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline marketing workflows, reduce operational bottlenecks, and improve scalability and performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, service, and Servco teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, ensuring broader organizational support.
- Develop and manage marketing project timelines for initiatives, campaigns, and ongoing projects, ensuring resource allocation is efficient and deadlines are consistently met.
- Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, providing regular project status updates, managing client expectations, and addressing concerns or scope changes.
- Analyze project status and key performance indicators, adjusting project scope, resources, and schedules to optimize outcomes and ensure the project meets objectives.
- Report project outcomes, risks, and updates to leadership, escalating potential risks or obstacles as necessary to maintain project momentum and alignment.
- Ensure all marketing efforts adhere to TrueNorth Way and brand identity guidelines, maintaining consistency and compliance across all projects and campaigns.
Credentials:
- A two-year degree or certificate is required; A four-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of four years of project management, event planning or similar experience preferred
- Prior experience in the marketing or creative industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
