Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the ER Department : Manage and coordinate clinical activities to deliver quality patient care under the direction of the Program Director.
Set Goals & Prioritize : Establish objectives based on patient needs, staff requirements, and organizational goals.
Span of Care : Provide services to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Manage Staff : Oversee and mentor nursing staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
Ensure Compliance : Uphold regulatory standards, policies, and procedures within the department.
Job Requirements
Education : Graduate of a School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
Experience : Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in an ER or management setting
Supervisory Experience : 3–5 years in a management / supervisory role
Licensure : Current New Mexico RN License or Compact RN License
Certifications : CPR certification required
