What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing (RN) position at True North Consultants?
We are working with a prestigious nursing home group with a need for a Director of Nursing in New Orleans, La. We are looking for an RN that has management experience and experience building a team. overseeing staff, giving direction and setting up systems.
The Job of the Director if Nursing Services is the highest point of clinical decision making at our community.
This position will offer a signing bonus that we will discuss during the interview process.
This candidate must be currently licensed and have an unencumbered Registered Nursing License in the State of Louisiana.
Minimum Requirements :
- Must have a Bachelors Degree with a major in Nursing or other health related field
- Two years in a nursing leadership position
- Two years in a setting to be familiar with JACO, LDH, CMS regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Louisiana Medicare / Medicaid regulations and Department of Heath and Hospitals Regulations
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school
