We are seeking a talented and motivated Programmer / Software Developer. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that drive manufacturing operations. Newly created position open due to growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Software Development :
Develop and maintain computer programs, applications, and databases.
Create and distribute applications and software patches following management guidelines.
Migrate applications (both in-house and client-based) as needed to ensure smooth transitions.
Implement security protocols related to software.
ERP System Enhancements :
Enhance existing business systems to align with user-specific needs and industry standards.
Work closely with business analyst and end-users to understand system requirements.
Develop and maintain system-to-system integration.
Perform system tests and assist in user acceptance testing.
Troubleshooting and Support :
Respond promptly to support tickets from customers and internal departments.
Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely resolutions.
Draft instructional documents to guide employees in navigating company intranets.
Continuous Improvement :
Make recommendations for enhancing user value and system efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimize software solutions.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
Proficiency with MS-SQL databases (SQL development, queries)
Experience working with ERP Systems in a manufacturing environment (reporting, systems enhancements, integration etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication(verbal and written) and collaboration abilities
