POSITION OVERVIEW
True North is seeking multiple Technology Consultant, that will play a key role in guiding and overseeing the implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and client goals. This dynamic role combines business development, project management, and technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development:
- Support business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients, driving continued engagement and residual sales
- Recommend additional services to address client needs and enhance satisfaction
- Assist with preparing Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Proposals (RFPs)
- Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers
- Participate in strategic planning and problem-solving with stakeholders to meet business goals
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and contracts; follow up on sales opportunities
- Attend and contribute to marketing events like seminars and trade shows
- Stay informed on Company service offerings, past projects, and industry capabilities
Project Management & Technology Consulting:
- Lead internal meetings to clarify project scope and client expectations
- Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and alignment with client needs
- Design and implement technology systems for each project, ensuring industry standards and best practices
- Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring smooth execution
- Maintain clear communication with clients and the internal team, addressing any concerns or changes
- Assist with budget tracking, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints
- Prepare detailed reports and updates, presenting project progress and identifying potential challenges
- Stay current with industry trends and technology innovations to provide cutting-edge solutions
- Contribute to post-project evaluations, ensuring ongoing improvement and client satisfaction
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily admin tools such as Ajera (time & expense reports) and Outlook calendar
- Participate in internal team meetings and project management activities
- Represent the company professionally across different client engagements
- Identify and implement process improvements for project delivery
- Maintain a collaborative and positive work environment, assisting colleagues as needed
- Contribute to company culture through team-building events and organizational initiatives
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in managing multiple projects, ideally within the technology or consulting sectors
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote)
- Project Management: Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing, personable, with excellent relationship-building and teamwork abilities
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, capable of addressing challenges and developing data-driven solutions
- Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to shifting priorities
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely, with reliable internet and a quiet environment for conference calls
- Availability to work in the Houston or Dallas office at least three days per week
- Reliable transportation for site visits and meetings
- Eligibility for company motor vehicle policy coverage
- Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight as required
