What we need:
An experienced leader in consumer lending to oversee our Consumer Loan Department, lead a high-performing team, and build strong relationships with dealership and business partners.
In this role you will:
Lead & Supervise: Manage department staff, set goals aligned with the Credit Union’s strategic objectives, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Build Business Relationships: Develop and maintain indirect lending channels with area dealerships and retailers to expand our financial services network.
Drive Loan Growth & Compliance: Ensure compliance with loan policies and underwriting guidelines while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency. Serve in the capacity of a senior loan officer
Monitor & Optimize Operations: Oversee daily loan processing, indirect platform management, and coordinate with Loan Services to streamline operations.
Shape Lending Strategy: Serve as a senior loan officer, recommend policy adjustments to enhance credit quality and profitability, and implement changes as needed.
Develop Talent: Provide ongoing coaching, monitor team performance, and ensure exceptional service standards.
To succeed:
- Have previous experience in consumer lending, indirect auto lending and have led a team.
- You will need maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff to meet daily department demands.
- Ensure that lending activity is compliant with policy and applicable laws and regulations.
