Donations Processor/Baler

What you’ll be doing as a Donations Processor/Baler
- Sort donated goods into appropriate categories (resalable/recyclable)
- Quality control of goods within assigned area
- Responsible for baling all salvage materials (clothing/textiles)
- Tie and transport bales to the designated bale storage area
- Work pace must be sufficient to avoid a backlog of unbaled material
- Meet or exceed production quotas
- Maintain housekeeping within the assigned area
- Maintain records as assigned by the Department Manager
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Operate forklift
What skills or experience do I need for this job?
- A positive attitude and the ability to work with a team
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Possess the ability to relate with people with disabilities in a work setting
- Forklift certified or the ability to become forklift certified
- Goodwill will provide forklift certification training if needed

Physical Requirements
These work environment factors are general: CONSTANT: Stand and near vision. FREQUENT: Bend neck; talk/speak; and visual accommodation. OCCASIONAL: Medium work, lift and carry up to 50 pounds; rotate neck, static neck position; walk; hear within 5 feet and midrange vision.
