RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to complaints, alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, during investigations or emergencies.
- Complete incident reports to document all disturbances.
- Responsible for assisting with housekeeping and light maintenance needs.
- Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers etc., empty trash receptacles, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness all guest corridors, floors, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas as assigned.
- Assist with the removal and cleaning of soiled linens.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Experience in hospitality is a plus.
