Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on the greenhouse, processing lab, dispensaries, and general grounds keeping.

We are looking for a self-motivated team player that has a mechanically inclined nature, good communication skills, must be punctual, willing to work overtime and weekends on short notices. The work environment is inside and outside with fluctuating temperatures and will occasionally require PPE.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Operating heavy equipment

· Using hand tools

· Power tools I.E. (grinders, chop saw, screw gun)

· Tape measure proficient

· Driving company vehicles

· Basic welding

· General carpentry

· Use of PPE

· Lifting heavy objects

· Responding to break downs and troubleshooting failures of machinery

· Grease and lubricating fans, equipment

· Cleaning and organizing tools/sanitation

· Inspecting building for failures and informing supervisor

· Perform electrical, plumbing, air, and water tasks

· Other duties assigned from facility manager as needed

Required Experience:

· 1-year General Maintenance Experience

· Basic understating of electrical, plumbing, carpentry

· Certified Skills Training

Physical Demands:

· Able to lift 50-100 lbs. routinely

· Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, and crouching as job may require

· Able to read and understand basic instructions

· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

· Working in high noise levels occasionally

Salary:

Starting wage range depending on experience is $17-$20 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
