Pathway Advisement Group Position Description
HealthForce is seeking a visionary and energetic leader to be its Pathway Advisement Lead. This leader will help to grow and expand the Pathway Advisement Group around its support of K-16 and industry partners in expanding healthcare career pathway pipeline. Offering support to partners (K-12, college, and industry) effectively engaging with them to expand pathways and to strengthen relationships is the key to success for this role. The Pathway Advisement Lead will collaborate with the Education team members within HealthForce.
Pathway Advisement Lead Duties and Responsibilities
· Report to company president.
· Responsible for developing and fulfilling all department and organizational OKR’s and annual strategic plan.
· Manage, coach, and empower the pathway advisement department to meet KPI’s and maintain education and industry relationships.
· Identify, prospect, and negotiate partnerships with new community clients while maintaining current client relationships.
· Connect with all Central Valley regional K-16 key leaders (CTE Directors, Work-Based Learning Directors, Program Directors, Superintendents, Counselors, Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Directors, etc.)
· Connect with all Central Valley regional industry key leaders (CEOs, Work-Based Learning Coordinators, HR Directors, Outreach Coordinators, Simulation Directors, etc.)
· Support and promote the HealthForce mission of impacting the lives of youth in the community through connecting them with healthcare career pathways.
· Create and/or maintain foundational processes for departmental services and contracts.
· Continuously assess and improve departmental services to meet the needs of the healthcare workforce and K-16 demands.
· Oversee and delegate grant funded projects to ensure partnership alignment with grant requirements
· Responsible for fulfilling instruction from the Strategy and Partnerships staff member regarding the CVR Simulation Center project.
· Lead and delegate simulation center project tasks pertaining to partner communication, developing operational strategies, securing funding, and ensuring the project Scope of Work is met.
· Stay informed on news, policies, and events regarding healthcare simulation education, post-secondary healthcare programs, industry workforce demands, etc.
· Represent HealthForce professionally at meetings and events.
· Attend all-staff meetings, events, and participate in projects.
· Promote, and contract all Pathway Advisement Services (Pathway Coaching, Career Fairs, Workshops, Career Coaching, HF Scholars, and Grant Writing) to regional education and industry partners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
