JOB DESCRIPTION : Responsible for providing basic clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the organization.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Cabling and Infrastructure :
Install, terminate, and test network cables (Cat5e / Cat6 / fiber) in a variety of settings.
Install and configure network racks, patch panels, and other network infrastructure components.
Troubleshoot and repair network connectivity issues related to cabling.
Maintain accurate records of network cabling infrastructure.
Camera System Installation and Support :
Install and configure IP cameras and related equipment.
Run cables and connect cameras to the network.
Troubleshoot camera system issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Facilities Maintenance Support :
Assist facilities maintenance teams with tasks requiring technical expertise, such as :
Installing and configuring smart building systems.
Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
Assisting with general maintenance and repairs as needed.
IT Support :
Provide occasional technical support to employees, troubleshooting basic hardware and software
problems.
Assist with IT asset management and inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in networking or cabling are a plus.
2 years of experience installing and terminating network cables.
Experience with IP camera installation and configuration.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with fiber optic cabling.
Knowledge of network security best practices.
Familiarity with building automation systems.
Valid drivers license
