Water Mitigation Lead Technician

JOB SUMMARY :

As a Water Mitigation Lead Technician, you will play a critical role in helping families and businesses recover from water damage. You will be responsible for assessing water-related damage, executing mitigation strategies, and ensuring properties are restored effectively. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess water damage and determine the best course of action for mitigation.
• Extract water, set up drying equipment, and monitor moisture levels.
• Perform demolition when necessary, such as removing damaged drywall or flooring.
• Document job progress with photos and detailed reports.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and businesses.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring all equipment is properly used and stored.
• Provide compassionate customer service, reassuring clients in difficult situations.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in water mitigation or restoration.
• IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A heart for service and a desire to make a positive impact in people's lives.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency services as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $49,900.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply

Experience:

• Water damage restoration: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• IICRC Certification (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Omaha, NE 68127 (Preferred)
