What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Washer position at True North?
Purpose: Responsible for general maintenance and powerwashing of company sites across the Green Bay area. With the direction from the General Manager of Maintenance perform maintenance duties such as pressure washing sites, interior/exterior painting, general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide general maintenance assistance to ensure all company sites adhere to the company’s appearance standards
- Travel to all company sites across the area to pressure wash building exteriors and surrounding areas
- Perform basic painting and related tasks to interior and exterior areas across sites
- Assist with general site maintenance such as basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, air filters, and cleaning coils
- Coordinate with maintenance and store management on equipment deliveries
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Experience performing general maintenance; HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical experience strongly preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working outdoors in all types of weather
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the course of the shift. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
