SUMMARY: Perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions that will primarily support the scale house and trucking department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.

- Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function, or assignment before commencing work.
- Completes with the code of conduct and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
- Greetings visitors and callers, handles their inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate personnel according to their needs.
- Weigh or measure products to maintain relevant records, using truck scales, using EveryWeigh software.
- Weigh incoming/outgoing trucks, fill out and hand out required paperwork to drivers.
- Submits processed paperwork into Deacom to ship and receive.
- Generate Bill of Ladings, provide drivers with Analytical paperwork and shipping documents, as well as receiving paperwork from truck drivers.
- Compare product labels, tags, tickets, to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, or weights.
- Prepare paperwork for international exports.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are conducted.
- Conduct reports, emails, and searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.
- Learns to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
- Operates office equipment such as copiers phone systems, uses computers, and other applications.
- Supports other clerical staff and provides training for new staff.
- Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values always by holding self-accountable for applying our G.R.E.A.T. principles daily and personally living them when working with customers, employees, colleagues, suppliers, and others.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years related experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
