Loader Operator

Description

SUMMARY: To operate the Loader and perform production tasks and assignments, that enables the manufacturing of products and/or services for customers. Basic press operation skills are required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.

• Maintains good housekeeping and clean working areas in assigned work sites.
• Works with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Wears require Personal Protective Equipment.
• The loader operates the loader.
• Effectively evaluates raw materials inputs.
• Adjust raw material as needed to achieve high product quality standards.
• Closely monitors raw material weights for each batch to ensure high product efficiency.
• Verifies product batch requirements before starting production.
• Able to properly start up and shut down batch equipment.
• Ability to effectively solve equipment breakdowns.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and evaluates equipment wear.
• Supports optimal press productivity output through efficient raw material feeding.
• Receives truck shipments of raw materials and ensures materials are stored properly.
• Organizes raw material inventory.
• Loads of feed trucks.
• Supports die and roll changes, dryer cleaning, and hammer operations.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values always by holding self-accountable for applying our G.R.E.A.T. principles daily and personally living them when working with customers, employees, colleagues, suppliers, and others.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
