SUMMARY: Provides progressive and focused information technology leadership to the company; understands core business requirements and research potential new technologies that will address these requirements to increase quality of service and decrease cost of delivery. Maintains proactive approach to technology strategy for multi-site and multi-state operations.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, evaluates, administers, and coordinates the company’s strategic and tactical information technology plans to support long-term business needs.
• Updates and, where necessary, modifies the information management standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Designs and develops plans that include hardware, software, network data, and other dimensions to cover all aspects of information technology.
• Leverages AI and other leading-edge info and data analytics resources to aid achieving Company goals
• Develops and ensures adoption of Policies & SOPs to ensure leading edge cyber-security, IP protection, and other protocols to ensure wise and safe use of tech tools
• Researches and develops efforts to ensure the effective implementation and function of new technologies within the current and future IT infrastructure.
• Maintains currency with the newest technology trends and products available to serve the company now and into the future.
• Plans and oversees all major system upgrades.
• Manages and oversees computer system support activities.
• Develops, tests, and maintains disaster and cyber security recovery plans for IT systems.
• Prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Develops, implements, monitors department budget; manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, develops information technology staff including third party vendors and manages their schedules and workflow.
• Assigns duties, monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
• Manages all company hardware, software, electronic devices including laptops, computers, IPads, cell phones, etc.
• Ensures new and existing employees are set up with all IT related equipment, contacts, etc. and manages upgrades as needed while staying within budget.
• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred
• Four to six years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of advanced principles of information technology architecture, strategic information technology planning and effective IT security.
• Ability to manage IT for multi-site, multi-state operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
• Possess at least one IT certification such as CompTIA A or the like.
• Other helpful certifications: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician), MCTS (Microsoft Certified Tech Support), MCITP (Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional), MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), CompTIA Net , CompTIA Inet , CompTIA Security , CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate).
