Director of Information Technology

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee and manage all aspects of Information Technology and Operational Technology across corporate offices and manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, implementing enterprise-level systems, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of long-term IT and OT strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future growth plans.
• Direct the implementation and management of enterprise systems, such as ERP, MES, and PDS, including coordination with external consultants and user communities to drive operational excellence.
• Oversee a team of IT professionals and contractors to deliver robust business applications, secure networks, and reliable communication systems while ensuring alignment with aggressive expansion plans.
• Establish and enforce policies to safeguard data, maintain privacy, and protect intellectual property.
• Collaborate with technology leaders from key partners to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements through innovative IT solutions.
• Manage budgets and capital expenditure plans for the technology department to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Stay informed of trends in information technology, cybersecurity, and best practices for hardware, software, and information management systems to maintain a forward-looking approach.
• Develop and implement comprehensive user training programs to enhance system adoption and proficiency.
• Monitor cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the reliability and integrity of digital systems and communication networks. Lead the creation and maintenance of backup systems, disaster recovery strategies, and incident response plans.
• Regularly communicate strategic initiatives, project backlogs, and system performance updates to the executive leadership team.
