Position Overview
A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of equipment reliability, facility maintenance, and engineering project execution. This role is pivotal in minimizing downtime, extending asset life, and supporting long-term operational excellence through strategic planning, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance and engineering team to ensure high equipment uptime and plant reliability.
- Design and manage a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program.
- Oversee capital projects, installations, and process improvement initiatives from concept through execution.
- Optimize maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
- Champion a safety-first culture across all maintenance and engineering activities.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support process control and scrap reduction efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
- Utilize CMMS systems to monitor performance and support data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive maintenance/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Strong proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Solid understanding of lean tools, TPM, and process optimization.
Preferred
- CAD experience
- Familiarity with winding or magnet wire-related processes
- Six Sigma certification
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
