Engineering Role:
We need an experienced Process Engineer to join our team at True Scout Partners. This role involves providing crucial engineering and technical support across operations, focusing on start-up and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the final design, configuration, and installation of equipment and processes before start-up.
- Provide critical technical support during commissioning and start-up phases.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to achieve optimal production and minimize costs.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, including problem-solving with Kaizen events.
- Collect and analyze data using scientific and statistical methods.
- Support capital improvement projects and perform risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of professional engineering experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of chemistry and chemical processes.
- Proficiency in process programming software like Excel and Minitab.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering or chemical engineering.
