Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential technical support to operations, focusing on system start-up and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and install equipment and processes before start-up.
- Offer critical technical support during the commissioning and start-up phases.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase equipment reliability and productivity.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to achieve optimal production and minimize costs.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, including problem-solving with Kaizen events.
- Analyze data and maintain reports to track key performance indicators.
- Support capital improvement projects and perform risk assessments.
Requirements:
- 4 years of professional engineering experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of chemistry and chemical processes.
- Proficiency in process programming software like Excel and Minitab.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering or chemical engineering.
