The VP of Sales & Service will direct the delivery of services to members through Branch Managers and their teams, Digital Branch Manager and staff, including Member Services Officers so that organizational sales goals are achieved. They will also develop personnel and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained at all locations and that branches follow internal and external policies and regulations. Participate in the general management of the organization as member of the leadership team. | | Essential Functions & Responsibilities: | | E | 30% | Accountable for achieving organizational goals and objectives for loan and new member growth through directing and monitoring retail branch performance. This work is accomplished by direct reports under your supervision. Monitors product delivery, quality of service and proactively ensures problem resolution. |
| E | 25% | Accountable for directing and achieving member service expectations, which includes leading high performing teams to excel in all facets of branch performance. E.g., consumer and home lending (loan production and referrals), teller performance, investments (annuities and mutual funds). In addition, coaching and developing branch leaders to be market experts for a 3-5 mile radius around the branch and to ensure they meet organizational goals and objectives. |
| E | 15% | Participates in establishment of annual sales goals for deposit and loan products and initiates actions to achieve goals. In addition, creates desired member experience through these goals. |

| Performance Measurements: | | 1. | Develop a cohesive and well-trained team of branch managers and staff members who are self-motivated to become retail market experts for a 3-5 mile radius around their branch and to exceed daily department demand and long-term organizational goals of the branches. |
| 2. | Meet or exceed sales objectives for the branches including new member growth, loan production as well as cross-sale goals for core and ancillary products. |
| 3. | Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and colleagues. |
| 4. | To stay current and comply with all federal and state regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and all credit union policies and procedures. |

| Knowledge and Skills: | | Experience | Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. |
| | Education | (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). |
| | Interpersonal Skills | Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. |
| | Other Skills | Excellent leadership capabilities, desire to take a risk, lead a sales team, technological (know your way around a PC and reporting), written and verbal communication skills. Comprehension and understanding of regulations affecting deposit programs within the Credit Union or the ability to learn, including alphabet Regulations B, D, E, Z, CC, and DD. May require a Series 6 and/or 63 license. |
