Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations Support
- Manage daily clinical workflows, ensuring adherence to protocols, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in improving clinical procedures and operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate resources, including staff schedules and equipment maintenance.
Front Desk and Administrative Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them warmly and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information about clinical services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Process insurance verifications and collect co-pays or payments as needed.
Patient Communication & Customer Service
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients to address questions, concerns, and appointment details.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members.
- Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor with all patients and their families.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with healthcare staff to support patient care and streamline clinic operations.
- Train and orient new team members on front desk protocols and workflows.
- Provide support for other clinical activities and special projects as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in an administrative role with a strong focus on front desk operations.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and appointment scheduling software.
- Experience in healthcare administration or clinical operations.
Work Environment
- Clinical or administrative setting requiring extended periods of sitting, phone usage, and computer work.
