Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Clerk to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting our sales team with order entry, customer communications, marketing material distribution and act as a liaison between the sales and finance teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing & Data Entry:
- Assist the sales team in processing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with logistics, inventory, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Update and communicate order shipment details to customers and sales representatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product catalog, pricing, and promotional offers to provide accurate information to customers.
- Process orders and upload fulfillment information through various customer sales channels and portals
2. Customer Relationship Building:
- Act as a point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers and maintain regular communication to understand their needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing customers.
3. Sales Team Support:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, generating sales presentations, and maintaining accurate sales records.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgeting, and goal-setting activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
