Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver in Northern Chautauqua County to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain vehicles in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and any changes that may occur.
- Assist passengers when necessary.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transport.
- Complete necessary operations on your smart phone related to vehicle operation and passenger transport.
Experience
- Previous experience in NEMT a plus but not required.
- CDL not required
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards is essential.
- A clean driving record is a must.
- Ability to operate a smartphone
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as required for passenger assistance.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
