Delivery Driver

True World Foods is the nation’s leading supplier of fresh, sushi-grade seafood products and restaurant supplies. We supply high-end restaurants, hotels and other fine food establishments with safe food products from around the world. Our company associates are dedicated to sourcing and providing the highest quality products, with personalized service, on a daily basis.

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 8-10 hours daily, starting from approx. 8:00 AM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clock in for work on time by using facility time clock system
• Prepare deliveries for customers by packing and scaling fresh fish, filleting or cutting fresh fish or packing frozen and dry products
• Clean and sanitize production areas and warehouse
• Ensure accuracy of production by checking products on loading dock and assembling them according to customer orders
• Safely prepare truck for deliveries, then deliver product to customers by driving truck or van to customer's restaurants. May also be required to pick up products to be delivered to the facility
• Reviews invoices and matches them to ensure that orders are accurate and locates missing products and/or initiate corrections. Reports product returns or complaints from customers to TWF’s office.
• Collects checks or cash payments from customers and turns in to office.
• Finish delivery process by completing daily logs, equipment reports, trip reports, and any other documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations

Minimum Qualifications (To be considered for hiring)

Licenses, Certifications: Valid driver license (chauffers preffered)

Must be able to pass standard drug test

Must have 2 forms of ID and pass basic background check

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of local roadways for deliveries
• Knowledge of safe driving methods
• Knowledge of company products

Physical demands of the work (lifting, pushing, walking, speaking, listening, seeing, etc.)

• Position requires strenuous physical work (regular lifting of 50-70 pounds)
• Regularly on feet while at warehouse
• Sitting while driving for several hours at a time
• Speaking with staff and customers for whom English is a secondary language
