We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while managing schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
Experience
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
