Clinical Operations Manager
Location: Based in Buffalo, New York (with travel across multiple NY regions)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Clinical Operations Manager to lead our Buffalo, New York-based clinical team. This is a management role focusing on the operational oversight of a patient-facing medical services department, including structure, staffing, performance, and service quality. A strong background in healthcare operations and a passion for patient care are essential.
Team Leadership & Oversight
- Manage daily operations for the clinical team.
- Build a culture of accountability, structure, and performance excellence.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and continuous competency development.
- Conduct regular team meetings, individual check-ins, and performance evaluations.
Scheduling & Staffing
- Align team scheduling with patient volume and regional coverage needs.
- Ensure adequate staffing and workload balance.
- Partner with Human Resources for recruitment, onboarding, and team development.
Operational Execution
- Monitor performance metrics related to service, documentation, and workflow.
- Conduct audits on appointments, timecards, and documentation compliance.
- Drive consistency and efficiency in operational processes.
Training, Compliance & Development
- Maintain strong onboarding and ongoing training programs.
- Ensure staff trainings are current and tracked.
- Lead initiatives related to patient feedback, product recalls, and new technology training.
Patient Experience & Service Quality
- Address service issues and patient concerns promptly.
- Champion a high-touch, patient-centered approach across the team.
- Use patient satisfaction data to enhance service delivery.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work with internal teams to coordinate care and improve workflows.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance operations.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in healthcare operations or service leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Experience managing performance metrics and process improvement.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with EMRs, ERP systems, compliance tracking, and project management tools.
Willingness to travel within New York (monthly to quarterly
