Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors to ensure they are well-maintained and presentable.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and organized.
- Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms or common areas in hospitality settings, adhering to established standards of cleanliness.
- Implement industrial cleaning techniques for larger spaces or specialized areas as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred; experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning methods is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
