Trueline's client, a leading manufacturer of advanced electro-mechanical systems, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex rotating equipment for critical applications in the naval and nuclear industries.
What You'll Do as the Senior Electrical Engineer :
- Conduct advanced electromagnetic field analysis using 2D and 3D finite element analysis tools
- Develop and utilize electrical system models for various components including VFDs and excitation systems
- Lead complex engineering projects from planning to execution, including documentation and technical presentations
- Provide expert guidance in electrical engineering for rotating equipment design and new applications
- Design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and drive solutions in ambiguous situations
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical teams in product design and development activities
