Trueline's client, a leading automation and controls engineering firm, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate all aspects of controls engineering for complex production lines.
What You'll Do as the Controls Engineer :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring all control design requirements are met
- Collaborate with project management to coordinate customer specifications and participate in project planning meetings
- Oversee software development, in-plant start-ups, and customer plant installations
- Provide engineering expertise to production staff during the wiring process and assist with line set-up decisions
- Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot issues during production and start-up phases
- Finalize control software functions, update documentation, and manage project closeout activities
