What You'll Do As The Estimator
- Manage prospect files and lead information in sales tracking software
- Analyze plans and specifications, generating accurate take-offs
- Assist in proposal preparation and follow-up
- Maintain technical data and marketing materials for sales efforts
- Collaborate with project managers to refine pricing and assumptions
- Identify potential projects through bid boards and lead databases
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding backlog targets
- Support project coordination and logistics
- Experience in commercial construction estimating, with green roof knowledge a plus
- Understanding of project management and ability to interact with PMs.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software and electronic drawing/takeoff tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for deal-making
- Ability to build and leverage industry relationships
- College education or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Familiarity with project management processes
