Trueline's client, a leading construction company, is seeking a Paving Foreman to join their team in overseeing paving operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.
What You'll Do as the Paving Foreman:
- Manage and guide a paving crew to complete projects efficiently and to specifications
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, contractors, and management
- Oversee equipment operation and maintenance
- Handle administrative tasks such as time sheet management
- Adapt to varying work schedules, including extended hours and weekends when necessary
- Troubleshoot issues and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
You'll Succeed as the Paving Foreman if you Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in construction or related field
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Knowledge of paving best practices, including calculations for yield, slope, and grade
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screen
