Trueline's client, a leading construction company in Maine, is seeking a Paving Project Manager to join their team in overseeing and managing various construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring project efficiency, adherence to specifications, and timely completion.
What You'll Do as the Paving Project Manager :
Manage project documentation and paperwork
Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, labor, and equipment
Review and submit job estimates, billings, and payables
Participate in project meetings and stay informed of all project requirements
Collaborate with the Construction Coordinator on job cost budgeting and tracking
Oversee hourly employees, focusing on work schedules, safety, and productivity
Ensure compliance with MUTCD requirements and establish safe work zones
You'll Succeed as the Paving Project Manager if you Have :
3-5 years of construction experience, particularly with Maine Department of Transportation specifications
Strong knowledge of construction practices, especially in pavement and road construction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred)
Ability to read and understand MSDS sheets
Strong mathematical skills for roadway construction calculations
Experience with MUTCD and traffic control
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed
Physical capability to work in various outdoor conditions and tolerate moderate to loud noise levels
